Come paddleboard around in one of our freshwater lakes in Gulf Shores, Gulf State Park. Enjoy one of Coastal Segway Adventures Gulf Shores paddleboard rentals. Lake Shelby has the desired flat water and Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUP) rentals for all adventurers willing to try something new. Lake Shelby is a spring-fed freshwater lake in the Gulf State Park, and it is a great place to spend the day paddleboarding around with a lot of lakefront beach activity. When combining Shelby Lake, Middle Lake, and Little Lake, they create about 1.5 miles of vast water eco-system perfect for the outdoor adventurer. Whether you are packing a lunch, using one of the grilles in the picnic area, bringing a pole to fish, or looking only to explore as much as possible, after paddleboarding, Lake Shelby has endless things to do when visiting.

• All paddle board rentals will pay upfront, along with a mandatory paddle board rental waiver.

• All paddle board life jackets and paddles are provided.

• Respectfully, our policy is we DO NOT take reservations. Our rentals are on a first come first serve basis.

You have the option to take your paddleboard rental anywhere you like within the connecting lakes off Lake Shelby until your rental time expires. Take your paddle board rental anywhere you choose as long as you’re back before 4 pm closing time. All paddleboard rentals are available from 8 am to 4 pm daily.
